Camp Kudzu has empowered and inspired children and teens living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for over 20 years. Camp Kudzu offers summer camp and year-round programs for the entire family. Camp Kudzu provides the ideal setting to learn life skills, develop self-esteem and gain a sense of independence and community.

Networks Cooperative Ministry is a Christian ministry helping persons in need in the Northlake-Embry Hills-Tucker area for the last 20 years. Comprised by a group of churches, groups and organizations, businesses and individuals, NETWorks is committed to assist our neighbors facing food insecurity and housing crises, and helping them thrive.

Back this year is Taste of Tucker’s Beer Garden, featuring the best of our local brew houses!
What are you in the mood for? Sample amazing appetizers, entrées, salads, and decadent desserts from many local restaurants and eateries…smaller portions of the dishes they are best known for, with prices ranging from 2 to 6 Taste Tickets ($2-$6 value). Delight on a variety of craft beer and cider for 6 Taste Tickets ($6 value).

Join in on this amazing community fundraiser. There are several ways to help out… pre-event tasks, set up, parking, greeting, Kid Zone, trash and recycling, break down, and more…
It’s a great opportunity for churches, schools, and organizations looking for ways to get involved in community service. And yes, you can get service hours for volunteering – just bring your paperwork.
Plus, all volunteers receive a complimentary Taste of Tucker 2024 t-shirt!
Our Taste of Tucker Judges
Raven Mallard is a self-proclaimed foodie and former cooking instructor who occasionally caters. She loves supporting small businesses and the food service industry, particularly enjoying working with unique and uncommon ingredients. Raven is married to Chris, a mother of two, and “Mimi” to twin boys.
Jay Rappaport, a Tucker native, graduated from Henderson High School and earned a business degree from Georgia Southern. After graduation, he returned to Tucker to start his career as an appliance repairman and has been living and working in the community ever since. Jay takes great pride in being a part of the community. He is married and has a daughter in her third year at the University of Alabama. On weekends, Jay enjoys playing Cornhole with friends and family.
Anne Lerner is excited to serve as a sponsor and judge for this year’s Taste of Tucker, combining her love for Tucker, food, and giving back to the community. A resident of Tucker for over 27 years, Anne has held leadership roles in many local organizations, always willing to contribute her time, talent, and resources. Elected to Tucker’s first city council in March 2016, she served until term-limited in January 2024, including time as mayor pro-tem and an appointee to the city’s Development Authority. Anne is a public affairs director at Georgia Transmission Corporation, which builds substations and transmission lines to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective power to communities across Georgia.
